Mesorejuvenation

Mesotherapy is a treatment whereby microinjections (using very fine needles) are used to deliver rejuvenating and nourishing substances directly into the skin. They can be administered from the age of 30 with a view to reducing the effects of time and preventing slackening of the skin that occurs through aging.

What is it?

Mesotherapy is the microinjection of nourishing and rejuvenating elements directly into the middle layer of the skin.

They can be administered from the age of 30 with a view to reducing the effects of time and preventing the skin from slackening with age.

The blend of nutrients and vitamins used in the mesotherapy injections rehydrate the dermis and restore radiance to skin that may have become dry or less robust due to eternal factors such as too much sun exposure or the effects of smoking.

How is it done?

An initial (pre-treatment) consultation will enable Doctor Hannoun and Doctor Hertzog to determine a given patient’s profile with a view to deciding which treatment would be the most appropriate.

Mesotherapy can be carried out in two ways: either by individual, one-by-one injections or by using a dermal injector.

As a first step, the microinjections deliver a cocktail of nutrients and vitamins directly into the middle layer of the skin, stimulating the cells. This has a positive effect on the quality of the skin and produces a beautiful complexion.

The second and final step: the same nutritive and replenishing mix is applied as a “coating” to the upper dermis, restoring radiance to facial features – the skin looks rested, hydrated and glowing.

Mesotherapy can be used to treat areas of the face, the neck and neckline and the hands. Sessions last 20 to 30 minutes. It is a non-invasive technique and virtually pain-free. For patients with more sensitive skin, applying an anaesthetic cream prior to treatment will ensure that the process is painless.

How long will it last ?

Results are visible from the very first session. For best and longer-lasting results, the nutritive and replenishing mix should be injected 2 or 3 times a year.

And afterwards?

As the treatment is non-invasive and virtually pain-free the only real after-effect may be some slight redness but this will quickly disappear after a few hours.

For optimal, more lasting results, 3 sessions at 2-week intervals are usually prescribed. Then, a follow-up session after a month and after every 4-5 months is recommended. SHOULD THIS GO IN PARA ABOVE?
